HELICOPTER PANORAMIC FLIGHT PROGRAM IN RIO

Flights depart from Jacarepaguá Airport, located in Barra da Tijuca neighborhood, about 45 minutes away from Copacabana. Once there, you will go to our partner company office. Remember that traffic in Rio can be frustrating, so be prepared to be ready at the pick up scheduled time to avoid delays.
 

Due to weather conditions, air traffic around airports or any other unpredictable situation, we may have to change the route, which may create a small change in flight duration for more or less.
 

ROBINSON R44 / R66 / BELL 407

Lightweight single-engine helicopters, smaller than the Jet Ranger and the Esquilo, designed for transportation of reporters and journalists, businessmen and tourists. They have space for 3, 4 or 6 passengers and a pilot. They can fly up to 4.000 meters at a top speed of 220 kilometers per hour. With up to 12 meters in length, it has a lot of internal comfort.

HOW TO SCHEDULE YOUR PANORAMIC FLIGHT

We have daily departures on demand and you can choose the best date for you.
 

All flights are private and the charged price is for the full aircraft (3 people minimum).

After completing, you will be directed to payment page and must pay the amount of R$1.198,00 for the full aircraft (our reservation fee is 50% of the amount charged on the tour - for 3 people minimum). 

Reservation must be paid by credit card (PayPal) or by account deposit (only for people who have a Brazilian account). The rest of the amount must be paid in cash, directly to the responsible guide at the tour beginning. We usually need at least 48 hours notice to schedule this tour. If the chosen date does not appear on our reservation calendar, send us an email requesting availability. If you wish to pay full amount in advance, we can send you an invoice via PayPal. Payment must be made no later than 72 hours before the tour date.
 

Every transaction will be charged with a 7% due to Paypal fee.

We do not operate this tour during Carnival season, on holidays sundays, December 25th, December 31st and January 1st.
 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

- Paid reservation fee is not refundable in case of cancellation or withdrawal.
- To be eligible for a refund, customers must cancel their flights no later than 7 days before the flight date. For schedule changes, we need a communication with at least 24 hours in advance, by email, if it is available. - Transfers are scheduled so customers can arrive up to 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Flights are private and if a customer is late and misses the time, he or she will lose the paid deposit, which will be used to cover our expenses with the helicopter stopped at the airport. In case of arriving late, the flight schedule will be counted from the time the aircraft takes off until the moment the flight is due to end.
- Take your passport with you. This is an airport and Federal Police can prevent tourists from flying without it. No copy will be accepted by the police and the flight will not happen. Paid deposit for the flight will not be refunded in this case.
- Sometimes the tower team at Santos Dumont Airport does not allow us to get around Corcovado if the air traffic is too heavy. They can let us know this before we get close to the place. In this case, Private Shuttle in Rio can not be held responsible if we have to change the route. No partial refund will be given in this case.
