ABOUT OUR TELEGRAFO STONE TRAIL
Telégrafo Stone is located at Guaratiba, in west zone of Rio de Janeiro state. The place has a lovely view of the wonderful city. On one side, we can see the wild beaches. On the other side, we have a privileged view of Marambaia Sandbank and Mangrove, with a set of hills and mountains located in Tijuca in the background.
Telégrafo Stone is located in White Stone State Park: considered one of the largest urban forests in the world, with more than 10.000 hectares of extension.
And, on the way back, we visit delightful beaches, such as Grumari. Our return trip has more wonderful sights as we continue along Rio de Janeiro coastline until we get to the south zone.
Telegraph Stone, during World War II, had a military post where they watched the enemy ships, preventing attacks on our coast.
A LITTLE OF TELÉGRAFO STONE HISTORY
During World War II, the place was a military observation post, preventing enemy ships attacks in Brazilian coast.
HOW TO SCHEDULE TELÉGRAFO STONE RIDE
We have daily departures to Telégrafo Stone and you can choose the best date for you. We need at least 3 people. If you are alone, join a group.
After completing, you will be directed to payment page and must pay the amount of R$190,00 per person (our reservation fee is 50% of the amount charged on the tour - per person).
Please read and agree to our terms and conditions, then click SUBMIT. Reservation must be paid by credit card (PayPal) or by account deposit (only for people who have a Brazilian account). The rest of the amount must be paid in cash, directly to the responsible guide at the tour beginning. We usually need at least 48 hours notice to schedule this tour. If the chosen date does not appear on our reservation calendar, send us an email requesting availability. If you wish to pay full amount in advance, we can send you an invoice via PayPal. Payment must be made no later than 72 hours before the tour date.
Every transaction will be charged with a 7% due to Paypal fee.
We do not operate this tour during Carnival season, on holidays sundays, December 25th, December 31st and January 1st.

Pick up at hotel - Car ride to Barra de Guaratiba, passing through west zone - Track to Telégrafo Stone top - Visit to Prainha - Visit to Grumari Beach - Return with a stop on Rio de Janeiro beaches for photos - Macumba - Barra Da Tijuca - Pepino (free flight point) - Leblon Lookout - Ipanema - Copacabana - Return to hotel.
