We offer a magic tour in Rio de Janeiro, destined to people who want to know all the city main charms in a single day.
 
In the morning, we will start the tour visiting Tijuca Forest National Park, one of the largest urban forests in the world, with about 40 km² and hundreds of fauna and flora species found only in the Atlantic Forest.
 
Inside the park, we will also visit Corcovado, a mandatory stop for tourists. Opened in 1.931, Corcovado was elected one of the seven wonders of modern world.
 
After Corcovado, we will visit Sugar Loaf, the first cable car in Brazil and third in the world. Opened on October 27 of 1912, Sugar Loaf is one of the main icons of Rio's tourism.

A LITTLE OF RIO DE JANEIRO HISTORY

Cristo Redentor is a statue of Jesus Christ, located on Corcovado hill (Rio de Janeiro city). The statue is 30 meters high, with more 8 because of the pedestals. The monument construction began in 1.926 and it was inaugurated on October 12, 1.931. In 1.937, this monument was registered by IPHAN (National Historical and Artistic Patrimony Institute). Participating in the project were sculptors Paul Landowsi, artist Carlos Oswald and engineer Heitor da Silva Costa. In October of 2006, it was considered a Catholic shrine in Brazil. There is a Nossa Senhora Aparecida chapel, located at the statue base. In 2007, it was elected one of the world Seven New Wonders.
 

Rio de Janeiro city registered trademark, Sugar Loaf Mountain is a mountain naked of vegetation in its almost totality. It is a unique block of granite rock, which has undergone changes by pressure and temperature and is older than 600 million years. Sugar Loaf is surrounded by a vegetation characteristic of tropical climate, specifically an Atlantic Forest remnant, with native species that have already been extinct in other points of Brazilian coastal vegetation. 
 

There are several historical versions about Sugar Loaf name origin. According to historian Vieira Fazenda, Portuguese people gave this name during sugar cane cultivation apogee in Brazil (16th and 17th century).

HOW TO SCHEDULE A DAY TOUR IN RIO

We have daily departures to Corcovado + Sugar Loaf tour and you can choose the best date for you. We need at least 2 people. If you are alone, join a group.
 

After completing, you will be directed to payment page and must pay the amount of R$175,00 per person (our reservation fee is 50% of the amount charged on the tour - per person).

Please read and agree to our terms and conditions, then click SUBMIT. Reservation must be paid by credit card (PayPal) or by account deposit (only for people who have a Brazilian account). The rest of the amount must be paid in cash, directly to the responsible guide at the tour beginning. We usually need at least 48 hours notice to schedule this tour. If the chosen date does not appear on our reservation calendar, send us an email requesting availability. If you wish to pay full amount in advance, we can send you an invoice via PayPal. Payment must be made no later than 72 hours before the tour date.
 

Every transaction will be charged with a 7% due to Paypal fee.

We do not operate this tour during Carnival season, on holidays sundays, December 25th, December 31st and January 1st.
 

NOTE

After all the visits (Corcovado, Sugar Loaf and Palace Steakhouse), we will be able to take clients to any other point of the city that they wish without limit of time or distance (Rio or Niterói) until the end of the tour.
