Discover the wonders of the Tijuca Forest on foot!

Your hiking journey begins with a hotel pickup in Rio and a scenic drive to the entrance of Tijuca National Park. From there, our expert guide will lead you along well-maintained trails, highlighting the park’s biodiversity, historical points, and hidden gems.

Along the way, you’ll visit:

• Canoes Viewpoint – panoramic views over São Conrado and Pedra da Gávea

• Taunay Waterfall – the park’s tallest and most iconic waterfall

• Visitor´s Center – a place where you can explore the history of the Tijuca Forest

• Baronesa / Diamantina Waterfalls – two charming, lesser-known waterfalls perfect for a break

• Chinese Viewpoint – one of the most famous viewpoints in Rio, with a spectacular view of the city and coastline (not available during weekends)

- Optional trails to caves, rivers, and observation points, depending on group fitness and preference  

Animals such as toucans, monkeys, and coatis are often spotted during the hike — so keep your camera ready!
 

HOW TO SCHEDULE YOUR TIJUCA HIKING TOUR

We have daily departures to Tijuca Hiking Tour and you can choose the best date for you.

After completing, you will be directed to payment page and must pay 50% of the price to ensure your tour (R$164,50) (the amount of transportation will be included on the total, in the cases with transportation option).

Please read and agree to our terms and conditions, then click SUBMIT. Reservation must be paid by credit card (PayPal) or by account deposit (only for people who have a Brazilian account). The rest of the amount must be paid in cash, directly to the responsible guide at the tour beginning. We usually need at least 48 hours notice to schedule this tour. If the chosen date does not appear on our reservation calendar, send us an email requesting availability.

If you wish to pay full amount in advance, we can send you an invoice via PayPal. Payment must

be made no later than 72 hours before the tour date.

Every transaction will be charged with a 7% due to Paypal fee.

We do not operate this tour during Carnival season, on holidays sundays, December 25th,

December 31st and January 1st.
